Design, Control, and Optimization of Sustainable Systems
Achieving sustainability requires, with safety as a prerequisite, optimizing the trade-offs among stability, efficiency, and environmental performance, along with technological innovations that push beyond the limits of these trade-offs. Spanning applications from the control of industrial equipment to the optimization of energy systems, our research is centered on methodologies for the design, control, and optimization of systems, aiming to realize a safe, secure, and prosperous carbon-neutral society.
