IEEE LEOS Awards and Recognitions

During the Plenary Session at the LEOS Annual Meeting in San Francisco, Rod Alferness, LEOS President, recognized the winners of the 1997 LEOS awards.

Rod Alferness congratulated T. K. Sudoh, Nakano Lab., University of Tokyo, for his paper on "Wavelength Trimming of Distributed-Feedback Lasers by Photo-Absorption-Induced Disordering."
